Whitlingham Outdoor Education Centre offers a pay and play scheme allowing the opportunity to hire craft by the hour. These include open canoes, windsurfers and sailing dinghies during certain operational times.

Private Launch
It is also possible to launch your own private craft on the Broad with fees payable by the session – Daily/Weekly or through the purchase of a season ticket.
These are available at any time when we are running activities on the water. Due to safety precautions it is only possible to use the broad under the supervision of Whitlingham OEC staff who will be on hand to help out in emergencies.

Please note:
- The final decision to enter the broad rests with the Duty Manager and will be judged by regarding prevailing weather conditions and kit availability and condition of craft
- The use of buoyancy aids is mandatory.
- Craft are booked on-site on the day of hire. It is not possible to book craft in advance.
- No private launch will be available without a valid ticket.
